Easy Cheddar Cheesy Dog Treats

These homemade easy cheddar cheesy dog treats are Miss Lottie's all-time favourites out of all the recipes I've tried. She's a huge cheese lover and can't get enough of them!

They contain just 4 simple ingredients and are super easy and quick to make. You can switch up the wholewheat flour depending on your dog's taste and digestive requirements.

These treats make great gifts for other dog mums and dads too!

Ingredients

What you'll need:

340gs (3 cups) Wholewheat flour - (you can use any type of flour depending on your dogs taste and digestive requirements).

2 Lge Eggs

151gs (2/3 cup) water

113gs (1 cup) Grated cheddar cheese.

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350F (175C)
  2. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl to form a dough.
  3. Roll dough out onto a lightly floured surface with a rolling pin to a thickness of around 1/2 inch.
  4. Bake treats for 20-25 minutes.
  5. Allow to cool completely before feeding to your pup.

You can use any size or shape of cutter, I like to use a dog bone shaped biscuit cutter for extra cuteness.

Storage

Store your easy cheddar dog treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 months, or in a freezer for up to 4 months.
